In the current context of globalization, liberalization and rapid advances in information and communication technologies, we are deeply concerned that landlocked developing countries are becoming increasingly marginalized, despite our efforts to design national strategies for sustainable development. The development of transit transport infrastructure and its effective maintenance continue to be a major concern for Land-locked developing countries.
