Report of the Meeting of Experts on Regional Centres for Training in Photogrammetry and Airborne Geophysical Surveys and in Interpreting Aerial Surveys

Abstract

Report of the meeting of experts on regional centers for training in photogrammetry and airborne geophysical surveys and in interpreting aerial surveys was convened at Africa Hall, Addis Ababa, from 21-29 October 1964. It was attended by experts from seventeen government members of ECA and observers from six countries outside Africa and from UNESCO. The meeting adopted agendas like consideration of the need of African countries for photogrammetric mapping and airborne surveys and specialized personnel in these techniques and consideration of further preparation work for the establishment of the centers.
