This report gives an account of the activities of the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning since the sixth session of the Commission. It is a sequel to document E/CN.14/284 covering the period from June 1963 to February 1964, that is the period since the third meeting of the standing committee of direction held in Cairo. (1st -6th June), up to the sixth session of the commission in Addis Ababa (19 February-3 March 1964). The document E/CN.14/284 was used a basis for the work of the sixth session relating to item 6 of the agenda.
