Report of the first meeting of the ministerial follow-up committee of the conference of ministers responsible for economic and social development and planning, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 27 April 1998

Abstract

The Executive Secretary welcomed and thanked the ministers and plenipotentiaries participating in the meeting. He noted that the agenda was straightforward and consisted of one main item namely the consideration of the report of the preparatory meeting of experts of the Follow-up Committee. He particularly invited the Ministerial Follow-up Committee to endorse the resolution on the reform of the regional commissions and the recommendations contained there.
