This report will review briefly some of the developments in instrumentation and techniques in the United States since the last meeting of F.I.G. in August 1962. This report reviews briefly the papers which have been published on the several elements which contribute to the more general subjects of geodetic instruments and methods, photogrammetry, and cartography. There is also unpublished material which should be readily available from most organizations to those interested in pursuing a specific problem in greater depth.
