Africa’s Strategy for development in the 1970s united by their common aspirations and determined to pursue their efforts towards economic and social development, convinced that the central objective of all their efforts is the establishment of self-sustaining economic growth and welfare. Recommended that the strategy should be concentrated on a limited number of key areas and activities and suggest in this document a series of issues and measures which may require special attention within the context of the economic, social and institutional development of each individual African state during the 1970s.
