Report of ECA-MRAG mission to the Lusaka-based MULPOC

Abstract

With regard to the structure of this report, Section I provides a general overview of the second meeting of the Committee of Experts of the Lusaka-based MULPOC, stressing the extent of viability of this policy organ of the MULPOC. Section II highlights the overall picture of the MULPOC as an operational arm of ECA, while Section III provides a brief overview of ECA-MRAG and its basic thrust, as reflected in its recently revised brochure, Meeting the Challenge of African Development in the 1990s: ECAMRAG. Section IV focuses attention on development of multidisciplinary technical assistance. Recommendations on strengthening the MULPOC are provided in Section V.
