| dc.description.abstract | The mission was undertaken in response to a request from the Government Statistician for the Regional Adviser to review the National Statistical System and advise on "problems of management" confronting Department of Statistics. Respective letters from the Government Statistician, dated 3 August 1994, and from the Principal Secretary, Ministry of State (Planning), dated 10 February 1995, copies here attached as Appendices 1 and 2, refer. It was understood that more detailed terms of reference for the mission were to be elaborated on mission's arrival in Zanzibar. | en |
