Technical study on viability of using photovoltaic energy for rural electrification in Africa

Abstract

Energy supply for rural community is a subject of major concern in most developing countries. Although biomass fuels represent the main source of energy for rural communities, no development process can be initiated without an adequate supply of ‘’ modern energy’’, especially electricity.
