At its third session held in Tunis, the Committee of Nine reviewed the work already done in compliance with the provisions contained in resolution 3, together with the progress already made at that time by Signatory ,Governments towards ratification of the ADB Agreement and decided that Ca) if on 1 June 1964 the situation with respect to ratification appeared unsatisfactory, the Acting Chairman and the First Vice-Chairman of the Committee would visit, ,in order to assess the situation, those signatory countries which had not yet ratified the Agreement or about which no information had been received since the signature the agreement and if on 30 June 1964 the number of deposits of instruments of' ratification were such that there would be no hope of the Agreement corning into force in a relatively short time, the Executive Secretary would convene a week before the Conference of African Heads of State and, possibly, in the city where that Conference was to be held--another session of the Committee.
