Abstract

The third joint meeting of the ECA working part on Intra-African Trade and the OAU expert committee on Trade and development took place in Geneva from 13 January 1969. Joint meetings of the ECA and the OAU are convened to achieve full cooperation between the organization of African Unity and the Economic Commission for Africa in their efforts to harmonize the position of African countries in the deliberations and negotiations within UNCTAD in accordance with Resolution 135 (VII) of the ECA and Resolution 158 (XI) of the OAU. The agenda as prepared by the Secretariat was unanimously adopted. It is reproduced in Annex II.
