Abstract
The document discusses the environmental impact of fuelwood consumption in Ethiopia. It highlights the severe deforestation and land degradation caused by excessive use of wood for energy, leading to soil erosion, reduced agricultural productivity, and scarcity of fuelwood. The report also addresses the social implications, such as increased hardship for women and children, and health problems from smoke inhalation. It emphasizes the need for sustainable management of forest resources, improved energy technologies, and increased public awareness to mitigate these issues.
