dc.description.abstractThe second national seminar on ICT policy in Mozambique was held in Maputo, with participants drawn from all the provinces. The Prime Minister, Dr. Pascoal Macumbi, opened the seminar and actively participated in most of the sessions. The Seminar programme consisted of several plenary sessions, working groups as well as field visits. The presentation by ECA, annexed to this report, updated the Seminar on developments in implementing AISI and reported on ADF'99. The working groups were formed around four groups of issues included in the draft policy document. The conclusions and recommendations of the Seminar were presented at the final plenary session, following which the Seminar was formally closed by the Prime Minister.en
