The Resource Mobilization Committee (RMC) held its last meeting at the ADB Headquarters in Abidjan from 16-18 November 1994, where it identified short-term activities and assigned responsibilities for their implementation. This report outlines the tasks undertaken by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) as part of its assigned responsibilities. Key activities included finalizing the first mid-term evaluation report of UNTACDA II, updating the status of project implementation, and revising the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the RMC based on the evaluation's recommendations. ECA, in collaboration with UNDP, proposed updated TORs, which were submitted for approval. The report also highlights ECA's efforts in monitoring 456 projects, with limited data provided by ECOWAS, ADB, Nigeria, and Angola. Additionally, ECA conducted various UNTACDA II-related missions and prepared documents for upcoming meetings.
