The relevance of regional physical planning to the urban housing problem in the developing countries

Abstract

This document was produced for housing conference. The intimate connection between the housing problems of cities, urges the author to view the problem of housing in the context of urbanization and Regional Physical Planning that he proposes to demonstrate in his talk that the root of the housing problem lies, not so much in the urban areas where they occur, but in this rural-urban interaction process, that housing must be seen in a regional context, just as urbanization itself must be viewed in its regional context.
