Mauritius proposal concerning the setting up of a cement clinker grinding mill

Abstract

In Mauritius there are periodic attempts to investigate the possibility and profitability of domestic cement making the actual level of cement consumption is below 100,000 tons a years and C.I.F price of imported cement is approximately US $20 per ton. Because of the volcanic origin of Mauritius, there are not available the sedimentary raw materials usually required for cement making.
