Data sharing among the African Union Commission, the Economic Commission for Africa and the African Development Bank
Abstract
Many development partners need data from member States on a continuous basis for their development agendas. The data needed in most cases includes socioeconomic data from countries and overlaps among the different institutions. Partners have been deliberating in various forums on how to curb this duplication of effort and the resulting response burden on member States. The present report presents the data-sharing initiatives presently reflected by AfDB, the African Union Commission and ECA.
