The biennial report explored how to build innovative, effective and flexible industrial policy institutions, processes and mechanisms to enhance industrialization. Noting the centrality of trade for industrialization, the 2015 report assessed the bidirectional relationships between industrialization and trade. The present report provides a review of the progress made over the biennium 2014-2015 in implementing the work program of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), with a focus on the results that have been achieved in support of Africa’s transformation agenda.
