Abstract
The main objective of the Forum was to enable African countries to deliberate and agree on Africa’s collective input to the 2015 meeting of the High-level Political Forum, in the form of key messages. The key messages agreed upon at the Africa Regional Forum were resolution 67/290 setting out the mandate, format and organizational aspects of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and establishing the High-level Forum as the appropriate global, intergovernmental platform to provide political leadership and guidance for follow-up and review of sustainable development implementation and the integration of the three dimensions of sustainable development.
