This paper focuses on the key recommendations of sessions of the regional coordination mechanism for Africa (2006-2015) at regional coordination mechanism for Africa coordinators retreat Debre Zeit, Ethiopia, 30 November- 1 December 2015. The overall purpose of the annual meetings is to promote synergy and coordination among the agencies and organizations of the United Nations system, with a view to improving their collective response to meeting the priority needs of the Africa region and in their delivery of support to African Union organizations, for greater effectiveness and impact.
