The third international conference on FfD should arrive at a holistic financing framework for sustainable development, building on Monterrey Consensus and Doha Declaration. Additionally, a robust follow-up process will also be required. Such a process includes that no African country is left behind; there is strong regional involvement (e.g. platforms for peer learning); and an enhanced engagement with stakeholders. Similarly data and statistics are essential for effective Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
