Statement made by Professor Adebayo Adedeji during the 25th Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of African Unity. The statement highlights, why Africa remained under the yoke of the paralysis debilitating crises, the poorest and least developed
region in the world, and the region with the most dismal record of economic performance. Additionally, it also highlights how African countries can strengthen ties among themselves to enhance their ability to participate
