Abstract
The prime objective of the Workshop and Study Tour was to enable selected businessmen from African countries to deepen and broaden their knowledge of foreign trade systems, trade policies and practices in the USSR. In particular by exchanging information and experiences with Soviet trade officials and representatives of various enterprises with the view of identifying practical possibilities for expanding trade between the USSR and African countries. Furthermore, some workshop participants subside the opportunity to establish direct contacts with Soviet exporters and Importers.
