The structure and performance of Sudanese economy and their impact on employment growth

Abstract

This paper focuses on the structure and performance of Sudanese economy and their impact on employment growth. Sudan is not an exception, the inherited structural problems, adjustment programmes and the implementation of recovery measures have caused significant contractions in the growth of the economy, which have, in turn, created serious aggregate demand deficiencies.
