Abstract
This Directory is meant for officials responsible for training agents in the field of tourism. The information contained in the responses to a questionnaire sent to all ECA member States have been published without any changes. The profiles received from the countries are also presented in their original form, so as to give the agents responsible for tourism development in Africa access to first-hand information provided by their counterparts. ECA's comments on and analysis of the information has been translated into English or French in accordance with current practice at ECA. These constitute the first part of the Directory.
