Report on the activities of the African Training and Research Center for Women April 1984-1985
Abstract
The fifth meeting of ARCC adopted six resolutions which were subsequently approved by the ninth session of the ECA Conference of Ministers held in Addis Ababa from 24 to 28 May 1984. This resolution called upon member States and international organizations such as ECA, OAU, UNDP and the Voluntary Fund for the United Nations Decade for Women to increase their assistance to women’s programmes. As this report will show, ECA has persistently endeavoured to help implement the resolutions adopted by the meeting.
