Report on mission to bureau of statistics, Maseru, Lesotho

Abstract

This paper focuses on report on mission to bureau of statistics, Maseru, Lesotho. This mission was undertaken at the request of Mr. Phamotse, Director of the Bureau of Statistics with the following terms of reference: Finalise the Volume I - Administrative Report of the Census and Volume II - Statistical Tables, Carry out on job training of local analysts by discussion (supervision/ guidance ) with individual analysts regarding their topics, and Carry out the census data analysis training workshop. These activities are reflected in the work plan as part of a project request for funding by UNFPA and other donors, prepared by the Bureau of Statistics during an earlier mission to Maseru in January/February 1991.
