Abstract
This paper focuses on Agenda item 10: Current development in measuring the informal sector and the objective of this paper is therefore to review selected indirect approaches to measurement of the informal sector and also to recommend steps that African countries might take to integrate the informal sector into their economic information systems and national accounts.
