Economic and social conditions in North Africa
Abstract
This paper focuses on Economic and Social Conditions in North Africa part II preliminary analysis of economic structural trends 2000-2004. The goal of this report is to carry out a retrospective analysis in order to evaluate structural changes in the North African economies over the last five years, 2000-2004. This analysis is based on the annual reports produced by the Subregional Office since 1997, and it seeks to identify the major trends in the economies, which are difficult to perceive from short term annual analyses.
