Uganda statement on community development programme

Abstract

This paper focuses on the provisional agenda item Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. On the theme of Uganda statement on community development programme. The portfolio of t h e Ministers of Social Development includes the community development division (with Urban Social Welfare and the probation Service) and the division of African Housing. The Minister o f Social Development is responsible for Policy matters with regard t o community development and, as a member of the Executive Council, co-ordinates the activities of his Ministry with the work of other Ministries.
