Abstract

This paper focuses on the African countries that have organized or are in the process of organizing agricultural censuses or nation wide agricultural surveys within the framework of the,1960 World Agricultural Census Programme. A brief description of each individual project sampling design, method of enumeration, schedule of field work and tabulation of results, etc, then follows.
