Abstract
The objectives of this paper are: (1) to briefly review some of Africa's major post independence experiences with economic integration; (2) to attempt to identify some of the principal constraints in this domain; (3) to provide some broad perspectives on Future actions that need to be taken to move the process forward; (4) to make specific policy recommendations.
