dc.description.abstractUntil recently, Eritrea-has been identified with drought, famine and war that destroyed countless human lives, livestock, social fabric, economic infrastructure, environment and ecology. This country was compelled to pay a high prices in the 30 years armed struggle in order to liberate itself, After the conclusive war had come to an end in May 1991, it politically freed itself and has become a sovereign.state as the result of the referendum's outcome of 99.8% of its people voted, for independence. Eritrea is now in the process of national reconstruction with the aim of achieving its national, development in all sectors by utilising its available resources.; Industrial development is among its priority area.en
