The objective of this study is - to conduct descriptive analysis of welfare situation based on the three years WMS data of 1996, 1998 and 2000, - to see the economic situation of households and population based on the 1995/96 and 1999/2000 HICES data. - To show the welfare inequality of the rural and urban areas of the country. - To see the general standard of living of Ethiopian households.
