Abstract
The paper focused on the current state of bio-medical science and the alarming rates of the HIVIAIDS pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), the only workable way of successfully managing the disease is through prevention. Prevention includes educational and information strategies as well as appropriate behavior emanating from such knowledge.
