Abstract
During the early hours of March 21, the citizens of Kampala, capital city of Uganda, were suddenly awakened by a rather severe earthquake which shook the City and its environs. The first shock was followed by three others of lesser intensity and although buildings in the area were badly shaken, little actual damage was done and no lives reported lost.
