Africa and the global modeling systems : some issues
Abstract
This paper provides a brief overview of ongoing work in global modeling activity at several United Nations agencies, other international organizations and academic institutions. The main thrust of the paper is an analysis of the treatment of Africa in these models and the present and future role of ECA in these global modeling exercises.
