Bulletin of small scale industry in Africa

Abstract

The Economic Commission for Africa has paid particular attention to the promotion and development of small-scale industries in Africa. A number of studies on policies, programs and projects have been conducted and some of the commission’s initiatives have led to the creation of national and multi-national small-scale industry development centers. The commission has decided to publish regularly a bulletin of small-scale industry in Africa. this is the first issue of a publication which ECA plans to issue twice a year as a single and consolidated source of information on a vital area of industrial development in Africa.
