Women's reproductive health and food growing/processing: the case of Nigeria

This paper focuses on Women's reproductive problems include high maternal mortality, adolescent poor self perception, illegal abortions, non-accessibility and non-acceptability of family planning, etc. Women provide some 60 - 80 per cent of the labour input in food production, processing and trade. But factor inputs very often do not reach them in any significant amount this is a major reason for food supply deficits.
