This paper focuses on the information management and databanks: the Nigerian experience. The core issue is that the system of data and information management in Nigeria is not as effective as users will want and it therefore calls for modernization. A step forward is to computerize the entire data and information management system in the country and develop the possibility for a large storage system and a quick exchange system between producers and users in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of government.
