This document focuses on the report of the ad hoc expert group meeting on assessment and way forward after 5 years: The role of civil society and the private sector in the implementation of the NEPAD programme. The NEPAD Secretariat provided an assessment of the role of the private sector and civil society in NEPAD implementation within the context of African ownership of the continent’s development agenda.
