National energy policy for Serra Leone

Abstract

This paper focuses on National Energy Policy for Sierra Leone. The study assesses the current development and management of the energy sector in the country and identifies the challenges and other issues to be addressed in order to meet the stated policy goals and targets. It then makes some proposals for policy recommendations and strategies that need to be implemented so as to ensure reliable and affordable energy supply to all sectors of the economy in an environmentally sound manner.
