Memorandum relating to the draft protocol on the simplification and harmonization of trade documents and procedures within the preferential trade area for eastern and southern Africa
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to highlight transit trade constraints within Eastern and Southern Africa, identify the objectives and scope of appropriate transit facilities within the proposed preferential Trade Area, and introduce the draft protocol itself.
