Résumé
The purpose of the workshop was to assess the transition from relief to development and discuss the role of the international and indigenous nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in providing humanitarian assistance to the population affected by war and genocide. All the UN agencies, UNAMIR, all the NGOs operating in Rwanda, officials of the newly established Ministry of rehabilitation and social reintegration and all prefectures were represented in the workshop.
