Report of the mission to the republic of Botswana

Abstract

The mission took the opportunity for discussing the general lay out of CHIPS, the sample design for the labour force and migration survey and other 'problems like the definition of household. It participated in a short session of discussions on problems likely to be encountered in the household income-expenditure survey to be taken up in 1985-86. The mission met the Deputy Resident Representative, UNDP, and appraised him of the objectives and work of the mission. A summary report of the mission was prepared and copies were left with the CSO and the UNDP.
