Résumé
In an endeavour to establish an efficient, transport and communications network that will form the basis for the integration of Africa and to facilitate national and international traffic so as to foster intra-African trade and the achievement of self sustaining economic development, the United Nations General Assembly declared the 1991-2000 that of the Second United Nations, Transport and Communications Decade in Africa (UNTACDA II).
