Report on ECA/UNEP project no .fp/0302-75-13(838) for the evaluation and assessment of and advice on national environmental machineries in selected African countries

Abstract

The motivation for this project was the need for a more effective co-operation between the regional Economic Commission (ECA) and UNEI,for the furtherance of environmental development" in the region. Suggestions had been made for a joint venture in helping countries to establish their national machineries for the protection and improvement of the environment.
