Abstract
L'évolution de la famille en Algérie a connu trois phases principales allant de la Tribu ou clan a la famille nucléaire. Jusqu'au début du 20eme siècle, le concept de famille reposait sur I' appartenance à un groupe familial ou clan dont les composantes sont plusieurs familles, telles que conçues aujourd'hui, liées, par le sang, a un patriarche commun.
