Abstract
Agro-industries are usually the first to be established in modern manufacturing sector of a developing economy where agriculture has been the mainstay of the economy. Moreover, food processing has a stimulating effect on agricultural production. The food-processing sector is a large employer of labor and it provides substantial revenues to farmers as suppliers of raw materials by keeping prices of these primary products upwards.
