Maji : information bulletin on water resources activities in Africa

Abstract

The 1996 issue of the ECA Information Bulletin on Water Resources Maji - brings forward information on new innovations and developments on water resources activities in Africa. In order to meet the needs of diverse readers of the bulletin we have been successful in bringing this bulletin for the second time in its history in the three integrated language composition i.e. English, French and Arabic. The bulletin attempts to feature a wide range of subject areas embracing various aspects of water resources and water-related activities, most of which have usefulness and adaptability for African conditions. The readers would find the articles interesting and meeting their information needs to a certain extent. The articles featured in this issue are vital and educative as are the informative review on the existing river/lake basin organizations in Africa.
